in my experience the most fun/memorable/successful/etc. dates ive been on with a girl are when one of us is trying a new cuisine. for example, i treated a girl to a Thai restaurant a little while ago. it makes for really easy conversation because youre there to recommend dishes, tell what you like about them, even critique them a bit. naturally it opens up the conversation for more; other restaurants of the same style, other cuisines, and then eventually you have another date lined up for another restaurant.
